Weber Human Services (WHS), located in Ogden, Utah serves a growing urban population residing in Weber and Morgan Counties.
We are an organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan county governments to serve as the local authority for the provision of their substance use, mental health and senior service programs.
Weber Human Services is the only organization in the State of Utah providing these services under a single administration. Through dozens of human services programs, WHS helps thousands of its neighbors by supporting and empowering our most vulnerable groups including at-risk youth, the elderly, children, youth and adults suffering from mental illnesses, and those recovering from addictions.

a) Inpatient Utilization/authorization process and all Medicaid contract requirements related to inpatient services, including daily/hourly authorizations with hospitals, process claims, action letters, etc.
b) Outside referral authorizations, tracking, and process claims
c) Medicaid letters
d) Other duties as assigned
a) Dependable and good attendance record.
b) Demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication.
c) Desire to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes.
d) Critical thinking, detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
e) Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook; prefer substantive experience in Excel. Expert knowledge of Junction business applications required.
Must be willing to complete and criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
