Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding service and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Square POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance guest experience.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
- Uphold high standards of guest services by addressing inquiries or complaints with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
- A passion for culinary arts and providing memorable dining experiences is a plus.
Night, weekend, and summer availability is expected and required. Candidates must be willing to work Friday and Saturday evenings.
