Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverage options with confidence.
- Take accurate orders using Micros POS, ensuring clear communication to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales or special promotions.
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish.
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain smooth operations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties such as basic math calculations and cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Support guest services by providing attentive service.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, especially in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess or server.
- Familiarity with Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or nightclubs will be advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
