Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment including a fleet of tractor-trailers and other various equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission servicing to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and maintain fleet , industrial equipment, HVAC systems, hydraulic systems, air brakes, shocks & struts, and electrical components with precision.
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely when handling large parts or equipment; operate power tools efficiently during assembly or repair tasks.
- Diagnose equipment issues including engine problems, transmissions, electrical systems, and air conditioning.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for quality assurance and compliance purposes.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and heavy equipment repair.
- Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC systems, suspension components, air brake systems, tire service procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs or maintenance tasks.
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
