Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Farm Hand to assist with the daily operations of our farm. This position involves a variety of outdoor tasks and requires someone who enjoys working with animals, equipment, and agricultural operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Feed, water, and care for livestock
- Clean barns, stalls, pens, and other farm facilities
- Assist with fencing repairs and general farm maintenance
- Operate farm equipment and machinery safely (training available for the right candidate)
- Load and unload supplies, feed, and materials
- Assist with planting, harvesting, and other seasonal farm activities
- Monitor animal health and report concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform other farm-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous farm, agricultural, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Experience operating tractors or farm equipment is a plus
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Seasonal overtime opportunities available
