Duties
- Record and process all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Quicken
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
- Prepare journal entries for various accounting activities, including debits & credits and double entry bookkeeping
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify financial integrity
- Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements
- Generate financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for management review
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with familiarity in corporate or non-profit accounting environments
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting concepts
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, journal entries, and general ledger accounting
- Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in account analysis and financial report writing
- Experience with governmental accounting, budgeting, payroll processing, and tax compliance is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
