We are seeking a beginner to intermediate-level Scientist/Geologist/Engineer with experience in environmental field work and supporting report preparation. The qualified candidates would ideally have 2–5 years of professional experience with the following environmental activities:
Salary Range: $65,000–$80,000, commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities
We are seeking a beginner to intermediate-level Scientist/Geologist/Engineer with experience in environmental field work and supporting report preparation. The qualified candidates would ideally have 2–5 years of professional experience with the following environmental activities:
- Proficiency with IEPA TACO
- IEPA LUST investigation and reporting activities
- IEPA SRP investigation and reporting activities
- ASTM Phase I and Phase II ESAs
- Soil excavation oversight and confirmation sampling
- Conducting soil, groundwater, and soil-gas sampling
- Overseeing soil boring and monitoring well installation
- Document review and reporting including laboratory data analysis
- Preparation of groundwater elevation contour maps and geologic cross sections
- BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field
- Strong technical writing skills
- Ability to travel 40–50% (primarily local), occasionally on short notice
- Strong Microsoft Office Word and Excel skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must communicate effectively with team members, managers, subcontractors, and on-site personnel
- Able to work independently with limited guidance and be detail-oriented
- Strong understanding of and commitment to health and safety protocols
- Willing to work outside in a variety of climates and traverse tough terrain
- Willing to work at active industrial properties
- Willing to work over and/or outside of regular business hours, as needed
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification a plus
