Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Home Show & Festival Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of our promotional events and community festivals throughout Southern Michigan, based out of Farmington, Michigan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase our brand, engage with customers, and drive business growth through dynamic event management. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality and event marketing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of home shows, festivals, and community events from inception to completion
• Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution
• Develop and manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee all financial aspects including vendor payments and upselling opportunities
• Implement innovative marketing strategies to promote events through various channels such as social media, CRM systems, and local advertising
• Manage event logistics including venue setup, catering arrangements, guest services, and technical requirements using event management software
• Lead a team of staff and volunteers to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Track event performance metrics, gather feedback, and prepare post-event reports to inform future planning efforts

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning, management software proficiency, and managing event budgets within the hospitality or related industries
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on upselling opportunities to maximize revenue
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team leadership, and vendor negotiations
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with superior organizational skills and time management
• Familiarity with CRM systems for customer engagement and marketing campaigns
• Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels, restaurants, or banquet facilities is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability in project management with a focus on detail-oriented execution of large-scale events

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
