Responsibilities
- Control daily accounting and finance activities including job costing, payables, cash flow projections, and month-end reporting
- Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial comparisons
- Manage statutory and internal audits
- Review daily shipments, receipts, and direct labor hours
- Collaborate with manufacturing operations on cost-cutting initiatives
- Set monthly operational targets for shipments, labor hours, and inventory
- Monitor and control operational costs including supplies, repairs, and overtime
- Plan equipment acquisition based on availability, costs, and economic projections
- Develop performance reports on jobs, personnel utilization, and financial metrics
- Direct staff activities to maximize efficiency and profitability
- Manage production budget and ensure quality standards
- Advanced Excel proficiency including macros and complex formulas
- Hyperion expertise (HFM/Essbase, SmartView, FR Studio)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- US GAAP knowledge and application
- Systems integration understanding
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of manufacturing accounting experience
- Comprehensive understanding of Hyperion monthly processes
- Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.)
- JD Edwards experience
- Manufacturing operations background
