Job Summary
Our Production Team is responsible for producing the beautiful outdoor furniture that has defined Weatherend Furniture for over four decades. We are taking applications for an experienced spray painter to join us in our small sector of American manufacturing.
This job requires the use of a spray gun to apply primer and finish paint (AwlGrip products) to mahogany furniture. Preparation of the furniture and the paint booth is also part of this position.
Experience painting boats, cars, or other projects all applies to this position.
Tech school classes in automotive body repair, outfitting work on a windjammer, and building along with YouTube furniture videos are also possible paths to a successful career here at Weatherend.
Production works four 10hr shifts: Mon-Thurs, 7am to 5:30pm. Fridays are available to make up hours or for overtime work, so some schedule flexibility is possible.
Salary is based on ability and has significant raises tied directly to measurable skill progressions.
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial spray painting is preferred but not required.
- Education/training/experience in some form of large-scale painting is the minimum requirement.
- Ability to follow complex procedures accurately.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Pride in producing high-quality, premium furniture.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
