We are seeking a passionate and experienced Gardener with some horticultural knowledge to join our team. Your expertise will help create vibrant outdoor spaces that inspire and delight, all while demonstrating a genuine commitment to teamwork. Need a true professional who has maturity to do their absolute best in gardening, but also communication and knowing how to be truly supportive and professional on the job. I have gorgeous properties, mostly on the ocean, so beautiful and healthy locations to work, with nice clients. I specialize in organic gardening. This type of gardening is a lifestyle, working outdoors and working with nature. You will see many lovely designed gardens with a huge variety of plants. Truly knowing how to work as a team is mandatory. A healthy mind and heart is the foundation for a happy and productive work environment in building trusting relationships and helps everyone else on the job....Knowledge of gardening is a big plus, but emotional intelligence is crucial, can't emphasize that enough. Absolutely, no tolerance for smoking of any sort, drinking alcohol, or drugs.
- Maintain and enhance gardens, and landscape features through planting and watering, lots of garden maintenance, composting, some pruning, etc.
- You will be using hand tools, and will invest in four tools, I have the bulk of tools which gardeners will need.
- troubleshoot watering systems to ensure optimal plant health
- Support planting projects by preparing soil, composting, planting and watering seedlings, perennials, annuals, shrubs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standards of horticultural care while providing truly supportive service to clients, co workers, and boss.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, and plant care
- Skilled in using hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes; loppers, hedge clippers, sharpening tools, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor that fosters trust and support among team members and clients.
