Wealth Sprouts & Co. is a workplace financial wellness company focused on helping employees build stronger financial stability through education, strategy, and employer-supported resources. We partner with small to midsize organizations nationwide and are expanding our outbound growth team.
We’re looking for a driven, communicative Business Development Representative to help us grow our client base by connecting with HR leaders, office managers, and business decision-makers across the country.
About the Role
This is a remote, performance-based role focused heavily on outbound prospecting and relationship-building. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for initiating conversations, identifying interest, qualifying leads, and booking discovery calls for the CEO.
This is not a closing role or inbound lead position. You will be building pipeline through consistent outreach activity.
What You'll Do
• Conduct outbound cold calls to HR directors, office managers, and business owners at small to midsize companies
• Follow up through email and LinkedIn to maintain prospect engagement
• Qualify leads using a simple framework provided by the company
• Schedule discovery calls on the CEO’s calendar for qualified prospects
• Maintain accurate outreach records and activity tracking in CRM systems or shared tracking tools
What We're Looking For
• Strong and professional communication skills, especially by phone
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own schedule and productivity
• Consistent, resilient, and comfortable with outbound outreach
• Prior sales, outreach, customer service, recruiting, or business development experience is a plus
• Interest in financial wellness, workplace benefits, or employee development is a plus
Qualifications
• High school diploma required or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in sales, cold calling, customer service, recruiting, or outbound outreach strongly preferred
• Comfortable communicating by phone, email, and digital tools
• Familiarity with CRM systems or willingness to learn quickly
• Strong consistency, follow-through, and self-discipline in a remote work environment
Compensation & Structure
• 1099 independent contractor role
• Commission-based compensation per closed client, paid after client payment is received
• Flexible remote schedule
• Weekly team meeting with CEO
