Wealth Partners Capital Group (“WPCG”) is a West Palm Beach, Florida-based financial services holding company. WPCG was launched in June 2017 and currently has capital investments in eight large wealth management firms. WPCG’s mission, in partnership with these eight firms, is to assist with strategic growth, via both M&A and direct outreach to potential clients and JV partners. Since its inception, WPCG has closed over 178 transactions on behalf of its partner firms, which have added over $76 billion to their assets under management (www.wealthpcg.com).
WPCG is seeking to add a mid-level team member to WPCG’s Organic Growth Team. The person in this role will provide leadership and strategic direction for this team in a dynamic player-coach role. This individual will lead outreach to 401(k) plans, CPA firms, and other potential prospects on behalf of our partner firms while mentoring sales associates and partnering with leadership to shape the firm’s organic growth strategy. Ideal candidates bring deep experience in 401(k) plan outreach, fresh ideas, and proven best practices. Day to day responsibilities include identifying and screening potential prospects, email and phone outreach to those prospects, and scheduling and attending introductory meetings. Applicants must have a proven track record of successful outbound business development, specifically within the 401(k) / retirement plan market.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Managing outreach to potential clients and JV partners across multiple geographies
- Optimizing WPCG’s organic outreach strategy
- Mentoring junior team members
- Planning and coordinating initial calls / meetings with senior partner firm colleagues
- CRM management
- Other outreach and team responsibilities as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Skills and qualifications include:
- 3-5 years working experience in a (outbound) business development role calling on 401(k) / retirement plans
- Demonstrable history of successful business development results, particularly in the 401(k) / retirement plan market
- Experience with RIAs and Financial Advisors a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in CRM, PowerPoint, MS Office
- Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Excellent sales capabilities and communication skills
