The Opportunity: Account Executive

As IBDC continues its rapid growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Bilingual English/French Account Executive. This pivotal role is responsible for directly supporting the development and execution of diverse client projects, ensuring our international brands achieve measurable success and market expansion in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management:
  • Lead and coordinate multiple client consulting engagements (e.g., market studies, sales prospecting, in-store demos, and sampling campaigns), ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Actively assist in managing and nurturing IBDC's internal prospect pipeline.
  • Sales Growth & Business Development:
  • Drive sales growth for IBDC's clients, with a primary focus on securing and expanding presence within regional and national Retail Accounts.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as a key point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships with international clients, understanding their needs and ensuring project alignment.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Bilingualism: Native or near-native fluency in French is required. Must be fully proficient in English.
  • Sales & Business Development Acumen: Demonstrated success in new business development, a proven track record of achieving sales targets, and an entrepreneurial, results-driven mindset.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring organization and efficiency.
  • Experience: 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a consulting, sales, or business development role.
  • Work Authorization: Must be fully authorized to work in the United States (Contract status).

Highly Desired Attributes

  • Industry Expertise: Prior experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) or Consumer Goods (CPG) industry.
  • International Experience: Experience working with international clients (Europe/France) is a significant plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM software (e.g., HubSpot), and project management tools (e.g., Asana).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Rate: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Opportunity for performance-based Commission Pay and Bonus opportunities (including potential signing bonus).
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to choose your own hours within the Monday to Friday schedule to manage contract work efficiently.
