Location: Downtown Washington, DC 20548
Schedule: First Shift, 6:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

JM Dining Group is hiring dependable and customer-focused Barista & Deli Sandwich Attendants for our cafeteria in downtown Washington, DC. This position combines coffee preparation, deli sandwich production, cashier responsibilities, and customer service.
Responsibilities
Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
Prepare fresh deli sandwiches, wraps, salads, and grab-and-go items.
Take customer orders and accurately operate the POS system.
Maintain attractive and fully stocked coffee, deli, pastry, and grab-and-go displays.
Restock ingredients, cups, packaging, beverages, and supplies.
Follow recipes, portioning standards, and food-preparation procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen-control requirements.
Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties.
Provide friendly and professional customer service.
Work efficiently with the kitchen and front-of-house team.
Requirements
Must have a current ServSafe or equivalent food-handler certification.
Previous barista, café, deli, sandwich-making, or food-service experience is preferred.
Must be available to work the first shift from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to arrive on time for early-morning shifts.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Must follow workplace appearance, sanitation, and safety standards.
