Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches and food items with precision and care, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Brew and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, maintaining consistency and presentation.
• Process retail sales transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards.
• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Handle food safety procedures such as proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and warmly with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Barista experience or beverage service knowledge is a plus; training will be provided if needed.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
