Overview
We Who Wander Counseling & Consulting is seeking a licensed mental health therapist to join our growing private practice.
This position is ideal for a clinician who values flexibility, autonomy, and providing high-quality care in a down-to-earth environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to accurately identify mental health conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapies such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and play therapy.
- Provide individual, couples, group, and family sessions to address a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, life transitions, PTSD, grief, ADHD, etc.
- Utilize telehealth technology to deliver remote counseling services while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Participate in regular collaboration/consultation with team members and other related mental health professionals as appropriate while maintaining client confidentiality
- Maintain timely clinical documentation and abide by ACA and WI ethical standards

Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin mental health license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, APSW, or equivalent)
- Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- Commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care
Preferred
- Experience working with kids, adolescents, and adults
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Interest in growing a caseload within a private practice setting
Compensation
1099 independent contractor position.
Clinicians are paid a percentage of collected revenue, with earnings typically ranging from $50-$75 per completed session, depending on licensure, self pay, and reimbursement rates. Frequency of pay based on contractors preference (monthly or bimonthly)
Schedule
Flexible scheduling with part-time and full-time caseload opportunities available.
