Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identifies opportunities for cost savings and supports cost reduction initiatives
- Supports operational discipline by following daily standard work processes and KPI reporting

- All Bore Miner development sights
- All Recovery/extraction measurements & calculations
- Check Surveys
- Accountability for the Mine Map
- Report landlord tons & mine tonnage by section mining sites
- Surveying mine projects; construction, etc.
- Measure mining progress
- Secondary and primary surveys
- Annual subsidence contours for mine (DEQ, BLM)
- CAD computer drawings; miscellaneous drafting
- Longwall equipment layout in new section
- Update mine map as changes occur and the mine advances; maintain those changes in the CAD system.
- Provide Section Cut Maps
- Mine air quality & quantity measurements
- Calculate mine tons by landlord
- Mark/Install belt points, hanger spots, laser sites
- Survey mine floor elevations & create contour maps
- Assist sampling (rock mech, water, vent, etc.) and other duties as assigned.
- Install miscellaneous sights, stations, construction, etc.
- Provide cut maps to Mine Services Department as needed for construction projects
- Survey surface drill holes, pipelines, & construction projects as needed
- Establish LW retreat footage marks
- Complete drafting as necessary for engineering staff
- Associate of Science Geomatics; PLS; LSIT
- AutoCAD and Carlson Underground Software experience preferred
