We’re Not Really Strangers is a consumer brand built around meaningful connection. What began as a card game has expanded into a a consumer brand with strong demand across DTC, social commerce, online marketplaces, and retail partners. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking a senior growth leader to scale revenue through disciplined, performance-driven marketing.
The Head of Growth will lead growth during a pivotal scaling phase, with direct ownership of paid media, acquisition strategy, and marketing efficiency. This role is responsible for redefining and scaling how the brand grows, turning strong social performance, content, and creator activity into a durable, paid-led growth engine. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role focused on building repeatable systems that drive revenue while improving efficiency.
Paid Media & Revenue Growth:
- Own paid media strategy and execution across paid social, search, affiliates, and emerging performance channels.
- Manage and optimize marketing spend with accountability for CAC, ROAS, contribution margin, and revenue growth.
- Build testing frameworks across creative, audiences, offers, and platforms to systematically improve performance.
- Translate high-performing social and creator content into scalable paid acquisition assets.
- Continuously improve efficiency while increasing total revenue and paid media scale.
Growth Strategy & Strategic Positioning:
- Lead growth strategy during a key stage of expansion, ensuring clarity on positioning, messaging, and channel prioritization.
- Establish growth frameworks for launching and scaling products, campaigns, and initiatives across channels.
- Partner with leadership to align growth priorities with company goals and revenue targets.
Social and Creator Performance:
- Scale the brand’s social footprint across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, using data to inform creative and media decisions.
- Develop systems to identify, test, and amplify social-native content through paid distribution.
- Build and scale influencer and affiliate programs, activating creators as a core acquisition and revenue channel.
- Use creator and social performance to inform paid strategy, messaging, and product launches.
Performance Measurement & Analytics:
- Establish clear performance measurement, attribution, and reporting frameworks across channels.
- Use data to guide budget allocation, creative direction, and growth prioritization.
- Partner with finance and analytics to forecast growth, track ROI, and communicate results to leadership.
Team and Cross-functional Leadership:
- Build and lead a cross-functional performance team spanning paid media, creative, content, and analytics.
- Partner closely with creative, product, retail, operations, agencies and legal teams to ensure alignment on execution and efficiency.
- Act as the company’s internal authority on growth strategy, paid media performance, and scaling best practices.
What we're looking for:
- 8 years of growth or performance marketing experience within CPG or consumer packaged goods brands.
- Demonstrated success scaling paid media for physical products, ideally across both DTC and retail.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with TikTok (both organic and paid) used as a performance growth channel.
- Proven experience managing significant paid media budgets with accountability for ROI.
- Strong understanding of how creators, social content, and paid media work together to drive revenue.
- Experience building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Highly analytical, execution-focused, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments.
