Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and reliable Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facilities. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, supporting skilled maintenance workers, and ensuring that all facilities are in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of production and office areas from floor to ceiling.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs inside and out.
- Support skilled maintenance workers in tasks such as painting, carpentry, and equipment repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of maintenance areas and equipment.
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment for events and activities.
· Responsible for stocking vending location and ensure items are well-supplied.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
- Able to operate automatic stand-up and sit-down floor care equipment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.
- A valid driver's license is required.
