Job Summary:
We Do Bling is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team at our retail facility, which features a storefront and a production shop in the back. The Shop Assistant will provide excellent customer service, assist with sales, and support production operations as needed. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for creative, high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:Customer Service & Sales:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and purchases.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on rhinestone apparel, accessories, and custom design options.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of the storefront.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise.
Production Support:
- Help prepare custom rhinestone and garment orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Assist with the application of rhinestone designs using heat presses and other equipment.
- Organize production materials and maintain a clean workspace.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet order deadlines.
General Duties:
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure smooth store operations.
- Assist in packing and shipping online orders as needed.
- Participate in store events, expos, and trade shows when required.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Interest in fashion, customization, or crafting is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
