What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print Shop Assistant position at Minuteman Press Hermitage?
Minuteman Press, a digital print, marketing and design business, and One Stop Mail is seeking a candidate for Customer Service and Print Shop Assistant. The position involves direct interaction with customers coming into our shop as well as on the phone and via email.
We are looking for someone with an interest in the print industry, a desire to learn new things, and great customer service skills.
Duties of the candidate will include:
- Work with current and new clients daily via email, over the phone, and in-person.
- Assist customers with shipping packages via FedEx and UPS.
- Review job specification from work orders and ensure that client files are accurate to produce jobs.
- Entering quotes, making work orders, making invoices, and entering payments in pricing software.
- Offering additional products/services to customers.
- Learn basic printing and digital printer operation.
- Learn basic bindery operation (cutting flyers, business cards, coil binding, folding, etc.)
- Maintain an orderly work area.
The successful candidate will:
- Have proven track record with customer service.
- Have experience with office copier settings, making copies, and using print options.
- Graphic Design and Print Experience is very helpful.
- FedEx Office, Staples Print/Copy Center, UPS Store Experience is Very Helpful.
Pay is based on experience.
No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays. 8:30am- 5pm
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
