Assignment Details
- Contract Lengths: 13–26 Weeks
- Shift Options:
- 8-hour shifts
- 10-hour shifts
- 12-hour shifts
- Days, Nights, and On-Call Opportunities
- Start Dates Available: June–July 2026

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered nursing care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and EMR charting
- Respond effectively in emergency and critical care situations
- Provide patient and family education
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and safety protocols
- Participate in leadership, staffing coordination, and unit support when applicable
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Alaska RN License required at time of submission or hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1–5 years of recent specialty experience depending on assignment
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or specialty certifications may be required based on unit
- Previous travel experience preferred but not required
- Experience in rural, critical access, or high-acuity settings is highly valued
Preferred Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility and adaptability in remote healthcare settings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- EMR experience preferred (Cerner, Meditech, PointClickCare, etc.)
Additional Requirements
- Proof of COVID vaccination required for all travelers
- Flu vaccination required for select assignments
- Some roles require fingerprinting and background processing prior to start
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from assigned facility for traveler eligibility where applicable
