We Are The Village | Modesto, CA
Make a difference every day! We Are The Village is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with developmental disabilities in a Level 3 Adult Residential Facility.
What You'll Do
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support medication assistance and health monitoring
- Prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe home
- Complete daily documentation and shift notes
- Accompany residents on community outings and recreational activities
- Promote independence while treating every resident with dignity and respect
- Respond calmly and professionally to behavioral or emergency situations
Requirements
✅ Active DOJ/FBI Clearance (Guardian) REQUIRED – Preference given to applicants with an active transferable clearance.
✅ Must be at least 18 years old
✅ Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
✅ Must be willing to work on-call shifts and respond to staffing needs when needed.
✅ Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements
✅ Compassionate, dependable, professional, and team-oriented
