A highly respected Mid-Atlantic law firm with more than 40 years of market presence is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its growing transactional platform. This is opportunity is for a senior associate or junior partner-level attorney to step into a sophisticated practice with genuine long-term partnership potential and substantial autonomy.

⚖️ The Role:
- Lead sophisticated commercial real estate transactions from structuring through closing
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, loan documents, leases, development agreements, and JV agreements
- Handle title/survey review, due diligence, entity structuring, and closing coordination
- Advise lenders, borrowers, developers, and investors on complex transactional matters
- Support business development efforts with expectation of origination growth over time
- Operate with substantial independence while collaborating closely with established partners and clients
✅ Ideal Background:
- 6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience
- Strong lender and/or borrower-side representation experience
- Maryland Bar admission required (DC strongly preferred; VA a plus)
- Experience independently managing sophisticated CRE transactions
- Business-development mindset with partnership ambitions
- Existing portable business viewed favorably but not required
