Location/Schedule: Livingston, NJ (Hybrid)

Base Salary: $220K

Practice: New Jersey general liability, premises, construction, and casualty defense. New York files are available if you are admitted there.

Our client is an AV Preeminent defense firm with 80 attorneys and 10 offices. Livingston is a real New Jersey hub, not a mailbox. The firm tries cases, and associates are expected to take depositions and appear. The rate and the footprint are why a Livingston seat pays $220K.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Defend New Jersey general liability, premises, and construction claims.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Argue motions and prepare cases for trial.

Requirements:

• JD and active New Jersey bar
• 3–8 years post-bar insurance defense — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner
• Deposition or court-appearance experience
