Base Salary: Up to $160k (plus performance incentives)
Practice: Workers’ Compensation Defense – Defense of employers and insurers in workers’ compensation claims and related litigation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defend employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims from investigation through hearings and appeals.
- Manage case development, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Prepare for and participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and administrative hearings.
- Collaborate with clients and partners on defense strategy and risk management.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):
- JD and active bar in at least one jurisdiction.
- 2–6 years of workers’ compensation defense experience.
- Strong writing and advocacy skills.
