About the Role

Well-known national reputation in insurance coverage and defense, representing major carriers in complex subrogation recoveries and bad-faith defenses that have shaped precedents in multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Defend insurers in coverage disputes and bad-faith litigation from policy analysis to trial verdict.
• Manage subrogation recoveries in state and federal courts, coordinating investigations and expert witnesses.
• Draft and argue motions, including summary judgments and declaratory relief actions.
• Conduct depositions of adverse parties and experts in high-exposure matters.
• Lead or second-chair jury trials and arbitrations in NY/NJ venues.

Qualifications

3-days hybrid flexibility across NY/NJ offices, balancing in-person collaboration with remote efficiency, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and discretionary bonuses for exceeding performance targets.

Required Skills
