🚨 Insurance Coverage Associate | Washington, DC / Multi-Office (Hybrid) – Up to $175k

Location/Schedule: Washington, DC / Multi-Office (Hybrid)

Base Salary: Up to $175k (plus performance incentives)

Practice: Insurance Coverage – Complex coverage opinions, declaratory judgment actions, bad faith litigation, and high-exposure claims for insurers and corporate clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex insurance policies and prepare detailed coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters.
• Handle declaratory judgment actions and bad faith litigation.
• Manage high-exposure coverage disputes from initial analysis through litigation and resolution.
• Advise clients on coverage strategy, claim handling, and risk management.
• Collaborate with partners on sophisticated coverage and liability matters with increasing responsibility.

Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):

• JD and active bar admission in at least one jurisdiction (multi-jurisdictional experience a plus).
• 3–7 years of insurance coverage or complex insurance litigation experience with strong analytical and writing skills.
