Corporate Attorney | Hackensack, NJ (Hybrid or Remote) – $230K

Location/Schedule: Hackensack, NJ. Hybrid, or remote.

Base Salary: $230K

Practice: Corporate and business transactions for New Jersey companies and developers. Acquisitions, joint ventures, and financings. Business litigation is in the same office if a deal breaks.

Our client is a Hackensack firm established in 1978. Corporate work sits next to business litigation, real estate, and estates. Three former New Jersey judges are in the firm, including former assignment and presiding judges. Partnership is available on performance. The seat can be remote.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, operating agreements, and joint venture documents.
• Run financing deals from term sheet through closing.
• Handle shareholder and partnership arrangements.
• Take existing client relationships that need an owner.

Requirements:

• JD and active New Jersey bar
• 4–8 years post-bar corporate or business transactions — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner
• Law clerks and summer associates will not be considered
• Drafting experience on acquisitions, joint ventures, or financings
