🚨 Construction Litigation Of Counsel | Newark, NJ (Hybrid) – Up to $280k

Location/Schedule: Newark, NJ (Hybrid)

Base Salary: Up to $280k (plus substantial performance bonuses)

Practice: Construction Litigation – Complex construction disputes, delay claims, change orders, defects, surety matters, and related energy/project litigation for owners, contractors, developers, and insurers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex construction litigation involving delay claims, change orders, defects, and contract disputes.
• Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Advise clients on surety, mechanics liens, and project-related insurance and risk issues.
• Work on high-stakes matters for owners, contractors, developers, and insurers in state and federal courts.

Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):

• JD and active NJ bar (NY a plus).
• 7 years of construction litigation or related complex commercial litigation experience.
• Strong trial, deposition, and client-facing skills (Of Counsel with portable business highly encouraged).
