A confidential law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney (4 to 5 years) to support a sophisticated disputes practice, including contract litigation and arbitration matters. This is a 100% litigation role designed for an associate who can manage active cases, step into depositions and hearings as needed, and work directly with senior litigators.

THE ROLE
- Handle commercial litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution.
- Draft and argue motions; prepare pleadings and written discovery.
- Take and defend depositions and assist with hearing preparation and attendance.
- Support arbitration matters, including preparation of submissions and witness outlines.
- Partner with senior attorneys on strategy, client communications, and case management.
LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
Location:
Dallas, Texas.
Schedule:
In office 4 days per week; potential for one remote day per week after 90 days of full on-site work.
Compensation:
Base salary up to $190,000.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4 to 5 years of commercial litigation experience (no more or less).
- Active Texas bar admission in good standing.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Flexibility to adapt to varied litigation activities, including hearings, depositions, and arbitrations.
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- In-court experience.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- 2000 billable hours.
