Role Overview As the in person events director you will co-oversee in person events!
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute engaging in-person events.
- Utilize prior experience in event planning and management to ensure successful outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong communication and time management skills in coordinating event logistics.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively to a team of event volunteers.
- Collaborate with the in-person team to facilitate smooth event operations.
- Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support to new in-person event volunteers.
- Manage our Art All Night, Mount Pleasant Artist Collective Winter & Spring Booth, Capital Pride and our Riverdale Artisan Markets booth. Must ensure volunteers are scheduled.
- Must sign any community service form!
- Are passionate about events and creating a space for all abilities in the arts
- Have experience with tabling and learning events
- Communicate clearly and lead with empathy
- Are organized, responsive, and tech-savvy
- Feel confident using Discord and Gmail, and Textnow for collaboration
