RN - OPWDD - Local Contract

Immediate opening in Brooklyn working for a large Social Services agency as an RN in a residential facility.

Job Function

• Day Shift.
• 9AM - 4:30PM.
• Coordinate and follow through on healthcare services as part of an interdisciplinary team for assigned programs.
• Arrange and manage medical appointments, referrals, and follow-up care for individuals served.
• Provide staff training on medical topics, including medication administration, hygiene, infection control, and first aid.
• Monitor and manage communicable diseases through assessment, reporting, prevention, and staff education.
• Administer first aid and refer individuals to emergency services or physicians as necessary.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 1 year OPWDD experience required.
• License and current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• CPR Certification.
