We are seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to support a high-volume hiring initiative for light industrial workers in Tolleson, AZ. This role will partner closely with the Contract Recruiter and site leadership, focusing on onboarding, candidate processing, and ensuring a seamless start experience for new hires.
We are seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to support a high-volume hiring initiative for light industrial workers in Tolleson, AZ. This role will partner closely with the Contract Recruiter and site leadership, focusing on onboarding, candidate processing, and ensuring a seamless start experience for new hires.
This is a fast-paced, high-touch role ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume environments and enjoys working directly with candidates to guide them through pre-employment and onboarding processes. You will play a key role in ensuring all new hires are fully cleared, compliant, and ready to start on schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support high-volume onboarding for light industrial roles (warehouse, production, general labor, etc.)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates post-offer through Day 1 start
- Coordinate and track background checks, drug screens, and onboarding documentation
- Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and on time
- Schedule start dates and communicate logistics, expectations, and site details to new hires
- Partner closely with the Contract Recruiter to manage candidate flow and hiring timelines
- Assist with onboarding sessions, orientations, and new hire check-ins
- Maintain accurate records of onboarding status, start dates, and compliance documentation
- Respond to candidate questions and provide a positive, high-touch onboarding experience
- Support hiring events, walk-ins, and onsite onboarding activities as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–4 years of experience in recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR support, or high-volume hiring environments
- Experience supporting light industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing workforces preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of candidates simultaneously
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, onboarding tools, or HR systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting large-scale hiring ramps (50 hires)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Experience coordinating onboarding for contingent or contract workforces
- Familiarity with background check and drug screening processes
- Prior experience working onsite at warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing facilities
