Equity Media is seeking a motivated, energetic, and results-driven Multimedia Sales Consultant to join our growing sales team.

As a Multimedia Sales Consultant, you'll represent two of New Orleans' most respected local media brands WBOK 1230 AM and KKNO 750 AM & 107.1 FM while offering clients a comprehensive portfolio of multimedia advertising solutions that combine the trusted reach of local radio with today's most effective digital marketing strategies.

Position Summary

The Multimedia Sales Consultant is responsible for developing new business and managing client relationships by creating customized advertising and marketing solutions that deliver measurable results.

This position requires a consultative approach to sales, helping clients identify their business objectives and recommending integrated radio and digital advertising campaigns that increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive revenue.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and develop new business through networking, cold calling, referrals, community involvement, and relationship building.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools.
• Meet with business owners, marketing professionals, executives, and decision-makers to understand their advertising and marketing objectives.
• Develop customized multimedia marketing campaigns utilizing radio, digital advertising, streaming audio, sponsorships, community partnerships, and special events.
• Prepare and present professional proposals and integrated marketing recommendations.
• Manage client relationships through exceptional customer service and consistent follow-up.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations that maximize client results.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals.
• Collaborate with programming, promotions, production, traffic, and management to ensure successful campaign execution.
• Represent Equity Media at community events, networking functions, and business organizations.

• Can manage multiple prospects, clients, proposals, and campaigns simultaneously.
• Have an interest in media, digital marketing, advertising, community engagement, and helping local businesses grow.
• Bring professionalism, integrity, creativity, persistence, and a positive attitude to every client interaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in outside sales, business development, account management, advertising, marketing, or media sales is preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prospect and develop new business opportunities.
• Comfortable presenting integrated multimedia marketing solutions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Experience in radio, television, digital media, advertising agencies, automotive, healthcare, legal, financial services, hospitality, nonprofit fundraising, or other B2B sales environments is highly desirable.

Compensation

This is a commission-based sales opportunity offering uncapped earning potential for motivated sales professionals.
