- _Requirements:_ The ideal candidate for this Co-op position will be a driven and technically adept individual with a strong background in medical devices and clinical research. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in supporting the design and development of global clinical studies, aimed at generating robust clinical evidence to enhance patient outcomes through the use of Abiomed products. Additionally, candidates will have the chance to learn from a dedicated, cross-disciplinary team of scientists.
- _Qualifications:_
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program (Masters or PhD) in Biophysics, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, Pharmacy, or a related field
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of cardiology and cardiovascular space, including familiarity with medical devices
- Proficient in biostatistics, with hands-on experience using statistical software such as MATLAB, R, or SAS for data analysis and modeling
- Highly motivated and dependable team player with a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
