What You'll Do:
The Wet Chemistry Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the Wet Chemistry laboratory by following methodologies and preparing samples.
- Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
- Document activities and report results accurately and concisely.
- Assist group leaders and analysists in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.
- Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.
- Other duties as required.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred.
