Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Site Manager to oversee daily operations of affordable housing, focusing on resident relations, rent collection, maintenance, leasing, and strict compliance with HUD regulation (like income verification, certification, and fair housing) to ensure safe, well maintained, and fully occupied properties. Training on HUD regulations will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Leasing & Occupancy: Marketing units, screening applicants, processing applications, managing move-ins/outs, ensuring maximum occupancy, and handling lease terminations.
  • Financial Management: Collecting rent and deposits, managing delinquencies, processing charges, assisting with budget preparation, and handling bank deposits.
  • Tenant Relations & Services: Orienting new residents, enforcing lease rules, resolving complaints, promoting community involvement, and referring residents to support services.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring adherence to HUD regulations, conducting income recertifications, managing resident files, and preparing required reports.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of HUD and fair housing laws.*
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with property management software and office applications.*
  • Organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines

*Training provided if other requirements are met.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
