Waitress/Waiter/Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of our food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all service standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience through upselling techniques.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and address any special dietary needs or requests from guests.
• Manage table settings, including bussing tables promptly and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips in accordance with restaurant policies.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall satisfaction during their visit.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings to provide informed recommendations to guests.
• Sidework. Stations must be filled and cleaned everyday.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience or Diner experience being a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Must learn menu and offerings before interview to a high level. 1 week of training/shadowing will be given to maximize performance to our requirements

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
