- Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and GPS technology to pinpoint incident locations precisely for rapid response.
- Dispatch law enforcement, fire services, medical personnel, and other emergency responders efficiently based on assessed needs.
- Maintain accurate data entry and transcription of call details into dispatch systems while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Provide phone triage support by offering first aid instructions or medical advice until responders arrive.
- Manage conflict situations with calm negotiation skills while maintaining security protocols and ensuring caller cooperation.
Skills
