Salary Grade: Service Rep I,II or Specialist
Duties: Supports the overall quality of the loan portfolio by assisting with the collection of past due loan accounts. Contacts customers with delinquent accounts to provide payment reminders and work toward resolution using phone calls, letters, and other approved methods. Maintains accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions. Provides excellent customer service by working with borrowers in a professional and respectful manner. Assists with basic reporting and administrative tasks related to delinquent accounts and may accept payments and provide receipts as needed.
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.
Experience: Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred; collections or banking experience is a plus but not required.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
