Salary Grade: Manager III
Duties: Prepares and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and the Board of Directors while monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as net interest margin, loan/deposit growth, efficiency ratio, and capital ratios. Assists with the bank’s budget, financial projections, and variance analyses, and supports the development of management discussion and analysis (MD&A) for internal and regulatory reports. Performs profitability analysis by line of business, branch, and product, and assists in compiling financial information for call reports, FR Y-9C, and other regulatory filings. Supports internal and external audit processes, ensures compliance with GAAP and FFIEC guidance, and assists with asset/liability management (ALCO) processes including interest rate risk modeling and liquidity stress testing. Monitors investment portfolio performance and participates in special projects such as merger modeling, cost-benefit analyses, and the financial evaluation of new product initiatives
Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial models) and familiarity with general ledger systems (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry, Prologue). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Knowledge of banking operations, financial statements, and regulatory requirements preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in banking, financial analysis, or accounting preferred. Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, or regulatory reporting is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
