We are seeking experienced operators, but are willing to train the right candidate to join our growing team. In this role, you are trusted with protecting what matters most: people and their peace of mind. You’ll respond to burglary, fire, medical, and equipment alarms, offering calm, reassuring support.
Responsibilities:
- Understands and troubleshoot fundamental signal issues and work with customers, technicians, and authorities to resolve concerns to ensure customers receive the proper response and support.
- Answer calls into the central station to resolve the situation or direct appropriately.
- Coordinate with wholesalers and emergency authorities to verify alarms and then dispatch assistance as needed.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Able to apply proper judgment in certain circumstances and work as a team player to ensure continuous coverage and maintain a high level of service.
- Provide steady, reassuring communication to customers during moments of stress or concern.
Requirements:
- Punctual and dependable.
- Apply effective and results-oriented problem solving with inbound and outbound calls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and customer-oriented service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Maintains a positive outlook and works collaboratively as a team player to support both colleagues and customers.
Required Education and Experience
- High School
- GED or High School equivalent
Physical Demands:
- No heavy lifting required
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:.
- Weekdays and Weekends (at least one weekend shift)
- Available shifts:
- 6:00a - 2:00p / 6:30a - 2:30p / 7:00a - 3:00p / 8:00a - 4:00p
