Receipt Inspector – Nuclear Power Plant
We are seeking an experienced Receipt Inspector to support material receipt and inspection activities at a commercial nuclear power plant. This role is responsible for verifying that incoming materials, equipment, and components meet quality, procurement, and regulatory requirements before being accepted for plant use.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform receipt inspections of safety-related and non-safety-related materials, equipment, and components
- Verify compliance with procurement specifications, quality requirements, and applicable codes and standards
- Review certifications, material test reports (MTRs), Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), and shipping documentation
- Must have working knowledge of Asset Suite
- 4 years of level 2 inspection experience
- Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies or nonconforming conditions in accordance with station procedures
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Warehouse personnel to ensure timely material acceptance
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation to support traceability and regulatory compliance
- Promote a strong nuclear safety culture and adherence to quality assurance requirements
