Position: Receipt Inspector

Location: Palisades Energy

Holtec Palisades seeks qualified applicants for the position of Receipt Inspector in its Procurement department based at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert, MI.

Job Summary:

· Planning and performing inspections, examinations and testing associated with the receipt and dedication of purchased material.

· Performing inspections by methodically evaluating the validity and acceptability of inspection, examination, and test results to satisfy technical and quality requirements of purchased parts and material

· Providing oversight capability for the receipt inspection office and provide technical support to Stores management.

· Supervising or maintaining surveillance over the inspections, examinations, and tests for training of lower-level personnel.

· Performing warehousing functions as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school graduate or a GED equivalent to a high school diploma.

· Three years of related experience in equivalent inspection, examination, testing, or equivalent activities, OR

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

· Ten years of relevant nuclear experience in quality, warehousing, accounting, materials, contracts, maintenance, project management and engineering.

· Qualified/Certified ANSI N45.2.6 Level I, II or III.

· Knowledge of Inventory and Material Control software systems.

· Minimum of 1 year of established performance as an ANSI Level II inspector in the materials discipline or 6 years related maintenance or inspection activity.

· Applied MRO materials experience by discipline, craft, and manufacturer.

· Knowledge of nuclear and other regulatory quality requirements.

· Ability to effectively work and communicate with others in the organization including good oral and written communication skills.

Wage Range: $42.92 - $47.41
