We are seeking a bold, entrepreneurial leader to serve as Associate Director/ Site Leader, responsible for running South Elgin end-to-end while overseeing Greensboro through direct report(s). This is a unique opportunity to shape one of Wayfair’s largest middle mile facilities, influence cross-site operations, and set the benchmark for excellence in our global network.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will serve as COI - Site Leader (Wayfair’s 2nd biggest HDO) with responsibility for performance, people, and process excellence.
- Process and People Excellence (85%)
- Ensure the site becomes a benchmark for quality, efficiency, and associate engagement in the global network.
- Ensure consistency in processes, culture, and engagement while ensuring flawless execution
- Drive turnaround initiatives
- Build, coach, and inspire a large team of managers, supervisors and team leaders to deliver outstanding results in safety, quality, cost, and customer experience.
- Serve as an escalation point and support the manager(s) in driving improvements and maintaining excellence.
- Strategic Roadmap & Cross-Functional Collaborations (15%)
- Develop and maintain the Norton roadmap aligned to broader Wayfair strategy, guided by your manager.
- Be responsible for delivering on STO/FRM/OKR commitments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent, Safety, Facilities & Maintenance, Tech, Performance Analytics, Transportation, and external vendors to prioritize and execute projects.
- Represent Linden in senior leadership discussions, influencing decisions that impact Linden and broader HDO network.
What You’ll Bring
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Supply Chain, Business, or related preferred.
- 10 years of progressive leadership in large-scale operations, ideally in e-commerce, consumer products, or logistics.
- 7 years managing large teams and senior leaders, with proven success in site leadership, change management, and operational turnaround. Specifically, leading, driving step change and continuous improvement in front-line operations.
- Leadership & Skills
- Lead front-line operations including labor planning, change management and continuous improvement
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to synthesize metrics and analytics into clear insights and actions, ensuring decisions are objective and grounded in facts. Strong analytical problem-solving skills — able to connect data insights with operational outcomes.
- Radical Candor: Communicates with transparency, honesty, and respect — giving direct feedback while showing care for people.
- Accountability & Rigor: Holds teams and leaders to high standards, ensuring commitments are delivered with consistency and quality.
- Cross-Functional Agility: Skilled at building strong partnerships with Talent, Safety, Facilities, Maintenance, Tech, and external vendors to resolve blockers and drive results.
- Inspirational leader with experience developing Supervisors, Managers and Sr Managers and scaling site culture.
- Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, balancing execution with long-term strategy.
- Confident communicator and influencer with senior stakeholders, both locally and remotely.
