Expected Hours: 30–40 hours per week

Schedule: Night/overnight shift, Wednesday night through Sunday night

Position Summary

Waxmaster Janitorial LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable working supervisor to lead a small nighttime janitorial crew. This position is responsible for directing and inspecting the work of approximately two janitorial technicians while also performing their own cleaning duties /accounts.

This is a hands-on leadership position—not a desk or office management role. The right person must be able to keep the crew organized, maintain a strong production pace, enforce our cleaning standards, and ensure each account is completed correctly.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assign nightly duties and clearly communicate expectations to crew members.
• Work alongside the crew to complete scheduled janitorial services.
• Inspect completed work and correct deficiencies before leaving each account.
• Keep employees working at the pace required to meet production goals.
• Train employees on cleaning procedures, equipment use, safety, and quality standards.
• Document completed work, problems, damage, supply needs, and employee performance.
• Communicate promptly with company management regarding call-outs, delays, complaints, or other issues.
• Secure client facilities and properly manage keys, alarm codes, and access procedures.
• Operate auto scrubbers, vacuums, carpet extractors, floor machines, and other commercial cleaning equipment.
• Clean restrooms, breakrooms, offices, common areas, floors, and other assigned spaces.
• Empty trash and recycling and replace liners.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning-supply inventory.
• Transport employees, equipment, and supplies using company vehicles and trailers when assigned.
• Fill in for absent employees or unfinished routes when necessary.
• Follow and enforce company safety procedures and account-specific instructions.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of professional janitorial experience.
• Previous supervisory, team-lead, or employee-training experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead a small crew while remaining productive and hands-on.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify incomplete or unacceptable work.
• Ability to work independently without constant direction or supervision.
• Ability to give clear instructions and hold employees accountable professionally.
• Dependable attendance and availability for the full Wednesday-through-Sunday schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• Ability to safely drive a company van and tow a small enclosed trailer.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and participate in random testing.
• Working smartphone for scheduling, communication, and work documentation.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
