Job Summary:
Waxmaster Janitorial LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial & Floor Technician to join our team. This route-based position involves scrubbing, buffing, and janitorial tasks in accordance with our SOP binder. The ideal candidate can work solo most nights and maintain a fast pace in line with our high production standards. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining clean, safe, and professional commercial environments.
Primary Duties:
- Perform routine floor care: sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing
- Operate equipment: buffers, auto scrubbers, vacuums, carpet extractors
- Conduct carpet cleaning and light maintenance as needed
- Clean restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Transport equipment and supplies using a company trailer
- Follow safety procedures and cleaning standards
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
Qualifications:
- Prior janitorial or commercial floor care experience preferred
- Able to work solo most nights with minimal supervision
- Must maintain a strong, consistent work pace to meet production goals
- Valid driver’s license and ability to back a trailer
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be subject to random testing
- Must have a working smartphone for communication and scheduling
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and follow instructions
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and read/write English
