What are the responsibilities and job description for the HOME HEALTH AIDE position at Waveny Brand?
1. Provides Service in the following ways
Assist with personal Hygiene.
Assist with Ambulation as instructed by primary care giver.
Remind patient to take ordinarily self-administered medications.
Provide comfort and safety to patient.
Report changes in patient condition or social needs.
Provide nutritional support, as instructed.
2. Documents activities performed for each patient at each visit in the EMR system or via paper form from the patient's home.
3. Attends meetings and educational sessions as required.
4. Communicates daily with HHA scheduled regarding changes in work hours and work availability.
5. Maintains and demonstrates good hygiene and personal health habits. Comprehends and follows OSHA guidelines and regulations.
Other supportive tasks, as instructed.

• Maintain staff and patient confidentiality.
• Abide by related Agency policies and appropriate departmental and agency policies and procedures.
• Perform other appropriate duties as required by VNHFC.
• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs.
• Must be able to position one-self to work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to sit, stand and squat when required.
• Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) most of the day if required.
